Day 86, Year 549

A failed attempt to set the building on fire

The Crafters of Oblivion were up to no good again today, this time
trying to set fire to the site of the old Mystic Academy. Luckily,
their plans to ignite several kegs of lager failed miserably, and the
remaining fires were quickly put out before they could do any real
damage.

Unfortunately, the apprentice Ma’Harba was severly burned while
trying to put out one of the blazes, and was dragged off by the
malicious Wilt. Several of us chased after Wilt and Ma’Harba, but we
soon lost them within the East Forest.

I was able to find them again, but fell to a small flock of
Blood Hawks. I called for help, but Wilt found me first, and soon I was
being dragged around on his chain as well! We were taken by Wilt to the
Marsh Hermit’s hut in the Marsh, where Rot took several… samples from us.

Afterwards, the two took us to Junko’s midden heap, where we were
unceremoniously dumped before we were finally rescued. I felt weak for
some time afterwards, but felt much better after a bit of rest. I swear
that the next time I see Wilt and Rot, they will regret the day they
ever layed hands on a mystic.
