Day 85, Year 549

The 272nd recorded Chaos Storm has swept through the lands, bringing
with it a number of new things, most notably the completion of the
tunnels that Und’rus and the Miner’s Guild have been working on for
months. The tunnels now extend far to the north of Puddleby, all the
way into Myrm territory. You can bet that the Myrmtarr won’t be too
pleased once she finds out.

Also new this Storm is the formation of yet another puddle
in the Puddleby Temple. No one yet knows what is causing these puddles
to appear, but there are a number of theories going around, ranging
from a leaky roof to the work of the Darshak. I’ve consulted with a
number of Ether experts to see if the puddles are related to the
Ethereal Plane in any way, but so far their observations have been
inconclusive.

Finally, there have been an increasing number of reports of Darshak
Spys snooping around Puddleby. Just today I spotted a Darshak Spy
sneaking around in the East Field. Unfortunately, the Spy proved to be
stronger than I expected, and escaped before help could arrive.

Luckily, I was able to find the Spy again in the East Farms, and was
able to ensure that it would not be reporting back to the Darshak, with
the help of the healer Omega.

…but not for long

Later in the day, I also spotted several Darshak Thugs in south
Puddleby and in East Forest. This increase in Darshak activity could
mean that Kiril Drakesblood is indeed a Darshak Warlord, as many
suspect.
