He<br \/>\nseemed civil enough, showing all around him great respect, even<br \/>\nexpressing interest in the Mystc Path. However, when asked about his<br \/>\npast, he seemed confused and did not seem to remember much about it.<br \/>\nWhat he did tell us, was that he was the &#8220;Registrar of the Court&#8221; for<br \/>\nthe Emperor Mobius, and that it had been &#8220;but a desk job&#8221;. He also<br \/>\nclaimed that he had never met the Emperor personally. He told us that<br \/>\nhe was just going about his work, when he had found himself in the<br \/>\nAdytum. He slipped through a crack in a pillar, and found himself<br \/>\nexiting the Altar of Puddleby. I was not sure what to make of this<br \/>\nstrange man, so I helped him onto the Mystic Path, and let him be on<br \/>\nhis way.
