Every member of a family is like a part of a larger whole, and<br \/>\nthe whole cannot function when parts of it are lost. Today I lost a<br \/>\nmember of <i>my<\/i> family.  Her name was Lorian.  I heard the news from Yazza while hunting in the Marsh.<\/font><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><font><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.puddleby.com\/lundar-files\/img\/loriandead.gif\" alt=\"Lorian Dead?!?\" width=\"250\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p>\n<font>It seems that Lorian was murdered by the<br \/>\ntreacherous Xeval, though his motives are yet unknown, and now the<br \/>\nlovely Lorian is no more. This is a great loss, even greater perhaps<br \/>\nthan when we lost Dierdre, for this is effectively permanent. This is a<br \/>\nfoul blow to our clan; don&#8217;t be surprised if yi see members of ELF just<br \/>\nsitting around town looking dejected. And if the death of Lorian hurts<br \/>\nus this much, it will hurt the Clan Lord of our clan a hundred times<br \/>\nmore, especially since he was engaged to Lorian. Fleming has not yet<br \/>\nbeen notified of the situation, and it is assumed that he will find out<br \/>\nin our next clan meeting.
