{"id":834,"date":"2000-07-08T03:11:31","date_gmt":"2000-07-08T10:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.puddleby.com\/lundar\/?p=834"},"modified":"2000-07-08T03:11:31","modified_gmt":"2000-07-08T10:11:31","slug":"increased-orga-activity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/puddleby.com\/lundar\/2000\/07\/increased-orga-activity\/","title":{"rendered":"Increased Orga Activity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nDay 156, Year 538 of the Ascendancy<\/p>\n<p>\nThe orga seem to grow more restless everyday; perhaps due to our<br \/>\nconstant raids into their foul camp, or perhaps because they think now<br \/>\nto be an opportune time to attack Puddleby. Whatever their reasons, the<br \/>\norga are definitely one of Puddleby&#8217;s greatest threats. Today, as I<br \/>\nstepped out of the library, I heard cries for help over the sunstone.<br \/>\nAn army of orga were parading outside of their camp, and already,<br \/>\nseveral parties of exiles had been felled by them. I quickly rushed<br \/>\nmyself to the Tangle Wood, to see what I could do to help. I was<br \/>\nquickly felled.<\/p>\n<p>\nOutside of the Orga Camp stood a legion of orga. Orga of all shapes,<br \/>\ncolors, and sizes milled about, felling any and all exiles that got in<br \/>\ntheir way. Particularly nasty, were the Orga Frenzies, whom no exile<br \/>\ncould even come close to harming. The body count soon surpassed twenty,<br \/>\nand things began to look pretty grim. Soon, however, reinforcements, in<br \/>\nthe form of several powerful healers, and the one man army Gurgi,<br \/>\narrived, and the orga were cut down. The orga were no match for the<br \/>\nhalfling Gurgi; even the Frenzies could lay not a finger on him. Soon,<br \/>\nthe rest of us were on our feet, helping to cut back the orga. After<br \/>\nclearing out the forest, we took the battle to the Orga Camp itself,<br \/>\ngoing as far in as OC2, before being pushed back.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.puddleby.com\/lundar-files\/img\/wrath.gif\" alt=\"The Orga Wrath\" width=\"277\"><\/p>\n<p>\nWe were lucky this time, in that Gurgi was there to rescue our poor<br \/>\nfallen bodies, but what if next time, Gurgi is unable to help? Or worse<br \/>\nstill, what if we meet an opponent who is too strong, even for Gurgi to<br \/>\nhandle?
