Around<br \/>\nmidnight today, I stepped out of the library, and received an urgent<br \/>\ncall from my Apprentice, Curiousity. He related to me that the Clouds<br \/>\nof Ether had been spotted again, this time in the Lily Pond. I rushed<br \/>\nto the Lily Pond, and sure enough, there were the familiar bubbles of<br \/>\nEthreal mist, along with the Ethreal Portals they create. One thing<br \/>\nthat was different with the Clouds that appeared this time though, was<br \/>\nthat they had the ability to zap exiles with powerful lightning. I was<br \/>\nnot able to stay for the entire battle against the Clouds, but my<br \/>\ncolleague Zorton tells me that the Clouds were eventually defeated. One<br \/>\nthing to note that may be of importance, is that so far, the Clouds of<br \/>\nEther have been appearing only close to midnight. This could prove to<br \/>\nbe a clue as to the nature of the Clouds.
