Day 297, Year 546 of the Ascendancy<\/font><\/b>

\nThere are some parts of this island that can give an exile a dark
\nfeeling about that place, like a chill running up their spine. The
\nthree known locations of such phenomena are the Noids Cavern, the Gnome
\nMines, and a beach to the west of the Southern Sand Dunes. Today,
\nMjollnir, the adventurer Stinkfist, and myself, set about exploring
\nthese locations.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nWe started off by heading south of town, to the
\nsouthern beaches. As we walked around, checking for any hidden
\nillusions and paths, sure enough I got a dark feeling about the place.
\nStrangely, neither Stinkfit nor Mjollnir sensed anything.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nWe scoured the beaches, checking every nook and
\ncranny for anything that might be suspicious, but we were unable to
\nfind anything. We then headed to the gnome mines, and again I got a
\ndark feeling about the place, and again my companions sensed nothing.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nWhile we were exploring, we got caught in the
\nfiery Gnome trap, and had to exit via the back entrance. We then
\ndecided to explore the caverns under the Maha Den, which turned out to
\nbe a mistake because we were soon overwhelmed by undine.<\/font><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\nLuckily, we were soon rescued by Tara, Dandu, and
\nClyde. Clyde and Dandu decided to help us in our explorations, and with
\ntheir help we explored the rest of the underground caverns. We then
\nreturned to the Gnome mines to get one last look at the place, then
\nreturned to town.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nDisapointingly, we were unable to solve the
\nmystery of the “dark feeling.” Stinkfist is now offering a 2000 coin
\nreward to anyone who can solve the mystery. More details about the
