{"id":732,"date":"2002-08-01T19:36:13","date_gmt":"2002-08-02T02:36:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.puddleby.com\/lundar\/?p=732"},"modified":"2002-08-01T19:36:13","modified_gmt":"2002-08-02T02:36:13","slug":"in-melabrions-keep","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/puddleby.com\/lundar\/2002\/08\/in-melabrions-keep\/","title":{"rendered":"In Melabrion&#039;s Keep"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><font>Day 8, Year 547 of the Ascendancy<\/font><\/b><font><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.puddleby.com\/lundar-files\/files\/8-547.gif\" height=\"164\" width=\"247\"><\/p>\n<p>\n<font><br \/>\nAs most exiles know by now, the last Chaos Storm has allowed us to land<br \/>\non the island west of Centaur Isle, which is tentatively being called<br \/>\nMelabrion&#8217;s Island.<\/font><\/p>\n<p>\n<font>The actual island does not, in fact, belong to<br \/>\nMelabrion, and is instead inhabited by deadly Valley Panthers and<br \/>\nSasquatches. However, it is also the location of the wizard Melabrion&#8217;s<br \/>\nKeep, hence the name of the island.<\/font><\/p>\n<p>\n<font>Today I decided to explore Melabrion&#8217;s Keep, and<br \/>\nput together a small exploration party. We made our way through the<br \/>\ntreacherous mountain passes of the isle, and into Melabrion&#8217;s Keep.<\/font><\/p>\n<p>\n<font>Once inside the Keep, however, we were surprised<br \/>\nto find that there were two other parties already there! We decided to<br \/>\ncombine our forces, and explore the Keep together, cutting our way<br \/>\nthrough hordes of angry guards and deadly Mud Golems.<\/font><\/p>\n<p>\n<font>I&#8217;ll leave the details of the Keep up to you to<br \/>\nfind, but we did find one interesting feature which is worth noting. In<br \/>\none of the towers in Melabrion&#8217;s Keep, our party discovered a portal to<br \/>\nthe mysterious Tower of the Ethereal Plane!<\/font><\/p>\n<p>\n<font>This is a very exciting discovery, and will surely<br \/>\naid us in our explorations of the plane, and help mystics reach the<br \/>\nEthereal Amulet trainers with greater ease.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Day 8, Year 547 of the Ascendancy As most exiles know by now, the last Chaos Storm has allowed us to land on the island west of Centaur Isle, which is tentatively being called Melabrion&#8217;s Island.
