Day 108, Year 547 of the Ascendancy<\/font><\/b>

\n“Mystic Battle”<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

\nToday there were quite a few mystics in the lands, and we decided to
\nhave some fun in the Arena. Pluto, Hawkthorn, Neige, Xel, Tirilis,
\nValtrim, Ragi, and I headed to Thieve’s Island to test our physical
\nskills against each other.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nAfter a few bouts to get us warmed up, we decided
\nto have a free-for-all tournament, where the last man standing wins. To
\nmake things more interesting, I put up 50 coins as prize money for the
\nvictor of the match. Everyone went to their own separate corners of the
\nArena, and the tournament was begun! (See Vision Stone<\/u><\/a>.)<\/font><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

<\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe battle was quite exciting, and everybody put
\nup a good fight, but when the dust had settled, I was the only mystic
\nleft standing. Ragi and Xel put up a pretty good a fight, but in the
\nend the outcome was inevitable. Nice try guys.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nNext we had two rounds of bouts which pitted the
\nfull Mystics (Hawkthorn, Valtrim, and myself) against the rest of the
\nassembled mystics. At first we were confident that this would be an
\neasy win, but we ended up getting beat up both rounds.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nAfterwards, we decided that for the last round of
\nfighting we should have another free-for-all tournament. This time we
\nagreed not to use any of our “boosts” during the match. Again, I
\noffered a 50 coin prize for the victor. This time, however, I would end
\nup losing my money. After a bout of intense fighting, Neige ended up
\nwinning the boost-free competition.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nAt the end of the day we were all a bit stiff and
\nsore, but we all had great time. Tan’ki to all the healers who helped
\nus back on our feet inbetween the bouts.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe inpromptu mystic tournament was great fun, and
\nwe will definately have to do this again some time. Next time, Neige
\nwon’t be so lucky.
