{"id":542,"date":"2003-02-10T02:15:26","date_gmt":"2003-02-10T09:15:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.puddleby.com\/lundar\/?p=542"},"modified":"2003-02-10T02:15:26","modified_gmt":"2003-02-10T09:15:26","slug":"puddleby-zoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/puddleby.com\/lundar\/2003\/02\/puddleby-zoo\/","title":{"rendered":"Puddleby Zoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Day 78, Year 549<br \/><span class=\"weblogDayText\"><\/p>\n<p>Today, the exiles of Puddleby worked to revive the Puddleby Zoo, an<br \/>\nexile tradition that dates all the way back to the Great Forgetting,<br \/>\nwhen powerful monsters that wandered into town had to be led behind the<br \/>\nfence of Mai&#8217;s Lawn.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s menagerie contained nearly 30 different creatures at<br \/>\nit&#8217;s height, with such beasts as Great Rockodiles, Noble Myrms, and<br \/>\nMaha Ruknees. It was quite a spectacle for those sitting in town<br \/>\ncenter, though a few objected to the imprisonment of the creatures.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.puddleby.com\/lundar-files\/img\/puddlezoo.gif\" alt=\"Puddleby Zoo\" height=\"295\" vspace=\"5\" width=\"422\"><br \/><font size=\"-1\"><b>I know this a zoo, but who&#8217;s watching who?<\/b><br \/><\/font><\/p>\n<p>Usually these zoos come to and end when some exile&#8217;s hunting<br \/>\ninstincts take over, but when I headed for the library around noon, the<br \/>\nzoo was still going strong. It will be interesting to see if the<br \/>\ncritters are still there tomorrow.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<hr width=\"50%\"><\/p>\n<p>In other news, it seems that Slyph was *not* kidnapped by T&#8217;rools or<br \/>\neaten by an Orga, as rumor would have it.
